Friends and colleagues-
As Venture Connects approaches its 5th anniversary this summer, I give appreciation to the past and hold steadfast with an eye to the future. I’m thrilled that our company has achieved this milestone and become one of the central U.S. early stage business firms of choice and a nationally-respected leader in the industry. I’m very grateful to all the companies and partners who have supported us over these years.
As we envision what Venture Connects will look like in a decade or a quarter-century from now, I am proud to announce the appointment of Maurice Vincent as Venture Connects’ President. In the time that he’s been with Venture Connects as an Advisor since our inception, he’s demonstrated a keen sense of the company’s distinction in both the startup industry and in the local community. Moreover, he shares in our commitment to facilitating the success of startups and the ecosystem as a whole.
Maurice joins us with a unique mix of skills necessary to keep us ahead of the curve. During his noteworthy career, Maurice has been an integral part of building companies, teams and had an exit himself. Moreover, he proudly served our country in the United States Army.
In the new role as President, Maurice will be responsible for overseeing all management and operations of the Venture Connects team and working directly with our team amidst growth of our organization.
I will continue my role as CEO focusing on some additional technology offerings we are rolling out in the coming months.
I invite you to join me in congratulating Maurice on his new role.
RJ Pahura, CEO @VentureConnects
